Jingle (Wedding) Bells

It's finally here: the most wonderful time of the year! Okay, okay, that may seem odd to say for a wedding planner who thrives during the wedding season (which is usually April to October). However, December for the wedding industry usually means downtime. It's the time we take to reminisce on the events we accomplished this year, and to look back at all of the success we've shared with our couples.

So for our first blog of the month, we're taking a trip down memory lane to Jacob and Victoria's wedding day in December last year. They let guests know right away what to expect with their stunning stationary of red and green! The gold accents added an element of elegance to their holiday invites.

When guests entered the venue on the big day, they were met with more festive touches on the memory table with gold framed photos of their loved ones.

The ceremony space definitely felt grand enough for our couple to say, "I do!" The sweeping staircase was lined with greenery of Italian Ruscus and timeless candles for a subtle nod to the holiday tradition of decorating with garlands.

Even the wedding cake featured red and green accents and was set on a gold cake stand that matched the decor found around their entire wedding day. The flowers on the cake looked like they were plucked directly from the bride's beautiful bouquet!

The reception decor had to match the grandiose of the ceremony, of course, so tables were set with tall, towering floral arrangements on gold structures that featured more white roses and greenery, and allowed the red napkins set for guests to truly stand out on the white linens.

All together, Jacob and Victoria's wedding day was full of elegant holiday details. Their choice of red and green elements in their decor, along with plenty of gold accents, created a spectacular scene of festive fun for everyone to enjoy!
