As we look forward to the 2025 wedding season, we explore new and old wedding trends that we feel might occur or be replaced in the new year. Our first 2025 Trends installment takes a look at some of the things we think are going to be “In” for 2025 weddings.
1. Garden Party Theme
Garden party themed weddings blew up at the end of last wedding season and we anticipate seeing them again this year based on their soaring popularity. A garden party theme provided an intimate vibe while celebrating with those you love. Lots of greenery, pops of color, and unique florals help to bring this theme to life.

2. Ready to Drink Cocktails
We all know that everyone heads straight to the bar after the ceremony. Having pre-made cocktails ready to go can help to eliminate long lines and provide your bartenders with time to make additional drinks as well as cater to those at the bar. Ready to drink cocktails provide a grab and go for your guests to get a drink in their hands and begin to party.

3. Film Photography
Film photography has consistently been on the rise for the past few years. The growth of polaroid guest books has also helped to establish this trend amongst weddings. Having your photographer include some film photos can help to give an unique aesthetic to your wedding as well as a fun little throwback when you look through your wedding photos.

4. Private Vows
Many couples have opted for writing their own vows to share on their wedding day. It creates a personal touch for your special day. Some couples have leaned towards keeping these vows private and sharing a private moment either before or after the ceremony to read them to one another. This can create an intimate moment for just you and your partner on your wedding day where you can show how much you truly love one another.

5. Dessert Experiences
Guests love to feel incorporated on your wedding day. Whether it’s a group photo or dance number, they enjoy being involved in a part of your special day. Giving your guests a dessert experience can help to enhance their experience of your special day. Try opting for a unique dessert to serve like gelato or a sundae bar where guests can create their own desserts.
