We attended the Eleventh Annual Nacey's Awards Gala last night, and we had the best time! This gala is held every year to celebrate the Richmond-area events industry, and offers an incredible opportunity to network and get together with our favorite vendor friends! This year's theme was a roaring 1920's gala, where everyone was encouraged to don their best Glad Rags and enjoy a beautiful evening at the Common House.
All Dolled Up
It's always a big evening for our team, so we start the day early to prepare. We invited attendees to join us around noon at The BrickhouseRVA and get their hair and makeup done by the incredible Amanda Perry! (Honestly, this is half the fun of the event itself: getting all dolled up with our girls!)

We also use this evening for another incredible opportunity, and bring in our girl Alyse to help us with our business headshots. Alyse Michelle Images captured us all in our banging business best before we all changed into our gala gowns and headed to the event.
The Party's Here!
We arrived just as the Cocktail Hour was wrapping up! Then it was off to the seated dinner reception, where the nominees and awards would be announced. We loved being able to catch up with so many friends as we found our seats and waited for the dinner service to begin.

We absolutely loved watching all of our besties winning some incredible awards and being able to celebrate with them. We also are happy to announce we won Best Event Centerpiece for our work at The Brickhouse RVA!
Dance, Dance!
It was finally time to dance the night away and have a little fun with everyone! We immediately headed to the dance floor to celebrate the right way with some good wine and good times. This is definitely the part of the evening where we cut loose and can appreciate all the hard work from the last year with the people who helped us make it happen.
As the night came to a close, we took a moment to reflect on the many years of amazing people we've had the opportunity to meet and work with, and immediately started planning even greater things for the future. This event has always given us a chance to be inspired, and we're grateful for NACE for inviting us along.
