ONE - Soak It All In!
Before you do any actual planning, take a deep breath! This is one of the most exciting times in your life and we hope you spend every minute you can relishing in it and celebrating with family and friends! Take a week to just enjoy and daydream about what the day means to you and what feelings you want the day to encompass!

TWO - Talk Priorities!
When you are ready, talk to each other about your priorities for the wedding before you set any plans into motion. Consider how you want the wedding to feel and who you want to share your day with! Think about what season best suits your vision and you and your partner's schedules.

THREE - List It Out!
We are ALL about putting some pen to paper and constructing some helpful 'to do' lists regarding your big day. Individually write down a list of locations and venues that you could envision your wedding taking place at. Compare your lists and see how your choices match up. This is also helpful to do when listing out your initial priorities for your big day!

FOUR - Ask Your Bridal Party!
Ask away!! Once you have a few ideas in motion for how you want your big day to look and feel, round up your best gal pals (and guys, get your buddies together too) and ask them to stand by your side on your wedding day! We have seen some really cute ideas and ways to ask your bridesmaids and groomsmen to take part in your big day so get creative with it!
FIVE - Announce & Celebrate!
Spread the good news! We hear it all the time - it is SO easy to get bombarded with excited questions about the when, where, and what of your wedding when announcing your engagement. So, having a few ideas on the table before sharing the joy can make that part of the story that much more enjoyable when you have some details to share! But first and foremost, this is you and your fiance's moment - relish in it because before you know it, the big day will be here!!
