With America's birthday right around the corner, what better way to prepare than looking at some fun ways couples can incorporate red, white and blue into their big days! We have rounded up some of our favorite ideas to put a chic, American twist on your big day! Now for some fun patriotic inspiration:

1. Striped Stationary

This stylish stationary set manages give off a patriotic and southern/nautical charm with the bright red, white and blue coloring as well as the stripes and string detailing. Backers and envelope liners are a GREAT place to play with patterns and accent colors.

2. Nautical Bouquets

These classic bouquets are a perfect compliment to classic navy bridesmaids dresses. White daisies, blue thistle and red roses complimented with some fresh greenery give this bouquet a hint of Americana, while the navy striped ribbon make them well suited for a seaside celebration!

3. Festive Formalwear

Bridesmaids aren't the only ones who can have fine incorporating patriotic colors! We love these guys "New England prep" look, which pairs a navy jacket and gingham button down with bright red pants!

4. Jazzed Up Cocktails

Bright printed straws are an easy and inexpensive way to spruce up your cocktail hour. Add them to a colorful signature drink for a fun and festive finishing touch! Or, turn your drinks into creative escort cards by adding flags to each straw with the guests' names and table numbers making them both fun and useful!

5. Patriotic Desserts

We all know guests' favorite part of your wedding is the dessert - or maybe that's just me!! When incorporating patriotic colors in your big day, why not opt for a crowd-pleasing flavor like red velvet? Naked cakes are making a huge statement right now so why not add some poppy detailing for a more elegant touch. Summer berries topped with whipped cream, berry sauce and chocolate straws are a refreshing treat for guests who might want something sweet aside from cake.

6. Table Decor

We love this chevron-American inspired table set up! Using different vases such as the classic southern mason jars for your red, white and blue blooms is the perfect way to spruce up your table settings. The wooden accenting on the navy chevron runner gives the perfect balance of southern and nautical themes!

7. Firework Shows

What could be a more appropriate ending for your 4th of July inspired celebration than a fireworks show? Talk about going out with a bang! If this pyrotechnic display is out of the budget, opting for sparklers that guests can wave as you exit as newlyweds provides a great photo backdrop for the evening as well!
