Marylee Marmer, Owner and Lead Planner
Over the past 15 years, as an event and wedding planner, Marylee Marmer has planned both large-scale events for corporate clients as well as intimate social affairs. Her weddings have been featured on Blushing Richmond, Tidewater and Tulle, Borrowed and Blue, The Lovely Find, Pretty Pear Bride, Richmond Weddings, BRIDE, Richmond Bride and Zola. She truly cares about each client and does everything to create the vision on their special day. She has done over 700 events and weddings over the years and happily keeps in contact with her past couples. She loves spending time with her two kids and loved ones, enjoying restaurants around Richmond, tasting wine, and helping others in the community.
Andrea Sitler, Lead Planner
Andrea is a certified wedding planner whose warm personality and ample knowledge makes her an excellent resource for your event. She excels in providing quality customer service to all her clients. With her excitement and enthusiasm to every detail, she will be able to assist you throughout your planning process. Andrea believes that her clients’ needs and desires are of the utmost importance. No matter how simple, how extravagant or how unique, Andrea is committed to meeting your needs. Andrea has the experience and resources to guide you through your wedding planning. While saving you time and stress, she allows you to truly enjoy your special day.
Andrea’s background is in Graphic Design and Photography. In 2011, she decided to redirect her career and use her design skills in a more hands-on way. In the spring of 2011, Andrea received her certification in Wedding and Event Planning at the University of Richmond. Andrea started working with Marylee and other top planners to help couples create their perfect wedding day. Andrea has gotten countless reviews, thank you cards for her work as a lead planner, and weddings have been featured on Tidewater & Tulle and Bride.
Andrea lives in Richmond, Virginia with her loving husband, Drew and their adorable, ever-curious boys, Nolan and Myles.

Jennifer Dendtler, Lead Planner
Jennifer Dendtler is a true Richmond native; she grew up in Midlothian and has since made the rounds, living in The Fan, the West End, and Powhatan. She graduated from Virginia Tech and loves Hokie basketball. Jennifer gained much of her event-planning experience through her philanthropic work with the Junior League of Richmond and the Young Women’s Leadership Alliance of the YWLA, as well as from planning her own wedding. She loves getting creative and experiencing one-of-a-kind events that truly reflect the personalities of the guests of honor. She continues to get reviews and thank you cards for her work as a lead planner. When she isn’t planning events, Jennifer loves spending time with her husband, Kevin, new baby, and two dogs, Pickles and Pecan.
Shelby Jenette, Lead Planner
Shelby Jennette has been a part of Marylee Marmer Events family since 2018! Her love for event planning originally comes from her full-time job in advertising, but it wasn't until she was on our team that it became a true passion. Shelby finds joy in the details and will go above and beyond to make sure our couples have a stress-free wedding day! It is an honor for her to be entrusted with your day and to help incorporate your unique story into your celebration! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When Shelby isn't planning a wedding, you can find her serving in her church community, spending time with her three adorable nieces, or at the dog park with her Yorkie pup, Toby!
Amanda Bletsh, Lead Planner
This is Amanda Bletsh and she is from Mechanicsville, VA. While attending college at the University of Mary Washington, she gained experience in the wedding industry at Historic Mankin Mansion. This industry has become another passion of hers, in addition to teaching. After earning her Master’s degree in Elementary Education at UMW, Amanda stayed in the Fredericksburg area and has lived there ever since. She is thankful to have the opportunity to pursue her passions in both the education field and the wedding industry. She has been part of the Marylee Marmer Events team for over 2 years. It is such a joy to work with so many amazing team members, vendors, couples and families. Amanda looks forward to assisting you with an event in the future!
Katie Flores, Assistant Lead Planner
Katie Flores is a Virginia Beach native who now lives and works in Richmond as a Medicolegal Death Investigator for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Katie is a 2013 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science. Along with science, Katie has a passion for helping others and bringing people together to create lasting memories. Katie’s passion for event planning developed from her experience planning small intimate events, fundraisers for her Non-Profit Organization, Teens Without 2, and planning her own wedding. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to multitask, effective communication and organization skills, and her love for checklists are just a few of her strengths that will eliminate stress and allow you to enjoy your special event! In her spare time, Katie loves to travel, exercise, volunteer in her community, and spend time with her friends, husband, and two sons.
Debi Green, Assistant Lead Planner
Debi lives in Midlothian with her daughter Nicole and her two adorable dogs. Although she was born and raised here, she moved to Los Angeles in 2017/18, where she gained her first experience in event planning. She is a special education Transition Coordinator in Chesterfield County. When Debi isn’t assisting her students in reaching their goals after high school, she is assisting our team in creating beautiful memories for our clients. Debi loves getting to know the couples and ensuring their experience is special and unique.
Nicole Green, Event Stylist
Nicole was born and raised in Midlothian and lives with her mom and two dogs. She is attending John Tyler Community College where she is pursuing her Associate’s degree in Music and plans to transfer to a 4-year university where she will obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Her passion for music and the arts brings bright and creative ideas to our team. Nicole is a romantic at heart and nothing makes her happier than seeing Cinderella marrying her Prince Charming.
Cadie Harris, Event Stylist
Cadie grew up in Chesterfield before moving to the West End after her freshman year of high school. Cadie is now a rising sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh, where she’s majoring in marketing and pursuing certificates in digital media, sports management, and leadership and ethics. She loves planning for the future, organization, and helping people bring ideas to life. When she isn’t helping out at events or working at the Marylee Marmer Events warehouse, Cadie loves listening to music, going to concerts, helping Marylee feed the homeless, and spending time with her friends and family.
Autumn Taylor, Event Stylist
Autumn grew up in Vermont where she lived almost all her life. In 2014, Autumn married her husband, Chris, and moved to Fort Drum, NY where he was stationed in the Army. They welcomed their sweet boy, Chase, in 2015 and quickly moved to a few more states before settling in Virginia in 2018. Autumn and Chris welcomed another little boy in September 2020. Autumn owns her own business as a professional photographer and is currently finishing up her degree in Social Work. Autumn loves spending time with her family and friends, shopping, cooking and helping out with events and working on florals in the warehouse. Autumn loves everything wedding and is so excited to be a part of your special day!
